The TF1W addresses this by installing directly into a standard 86 mm wall box - the same enclosure used for electrical outlets - giving each room its own dedicated access point without visible hardware clutter.
Powered by Wi-Fi 6 (802.11ax) technology, the TF1W delivers a combined wireless rate of 1800 Mbps across 2.4 GHz and 5 GHz bands. Its dual-band four-channel design supports up to 80 concurrent devices streaming video simultaneously, making it suitable for hotel rooms where multiple guests connect phones, tablets, and laptops at the same time.
The built-in IPTV passthrough port allows a television to connect directly to the AP via Ethernet, eliminating the need for a separate wired TV line in each room. This reduces cabling costs and simplifies the network topology - especially valuable in hotels where every room needs both Wi-Fi and IPTV.
Power is delivered through a single Ethernet cable using 802.3af PoE, so there is no need for a local power adapter. The TF1W also supports Target Wake Time (TWT), a Wi-Fi 6 feature that coordinates device sleep cycles to reduce channel contention and extend battery life for connected devices such as smartphones and IoT sensors.
